Shahen is a well-regarded solicitor with experience in advising and representing a wide-range of clients from individuals to Australian companies and international corporations. Since entering into practice, he has earned a reputation for providing detailed assessments of his client’s legal options as well as realistic commercial opportunities and considerations.

His expertise extends to commercial negotiation, dispute resolution, family law, property law as well as trust and estate planning. He has also had success representing clients in their applications to different courts and tribunals. Shahen has established and maintained long-term relationships with his clients, and is known as much for his personal approach as for his strong commercial focus. He is also fluent in Armenian and Persian languages.

Shahen is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He is the founder and Principal Solicitor of Verde Lawyers. Shahen has been admitted to practice as Public Notary in New South Wales. He is a member of the NSW Society of Notaries and a Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
